Micromax A116 Canvas HD Review

Micromax has launched A116 Canvas to capture the market.I personally not recommend anyone to buy phone because of its brand nameBut because of its features and value for money.
Micromax has given a direct competition to Samsung galaxy grand duos

Lets go through the parameter one by one:

Performance:
A116 Canvas contains 1.2ghz quad core processor,which makes it among the best.
Processing is smooth.
In media it runs full HD Movies with ease
Transition in andriod  are smooth.
Comes with android 4.1  Jelly bean
High Process intensive games run butter smooth.
Touch is also very responsive,though its not having a gorilla glass
Dual sim phone

Sound 
Sound level is decent and works best with headphones.

Battery life: The battery life lasts 12.5 hrs in normal usage,when using wifi battery backup dips to 11 hrs...ok ok performance

Camera:
Camera comes with 8mp with 720p recording and flash,in daylight image shot are decent but in low light images are bit dull and blurry.
Front camera poses 2mp camera which is decent enough for video calling.

Screen: 12.7 cms screen IPS display that has wide viewing angles.Images are asharp but color are fade compared to Samsung Grand,Visibility suffers under direct sunlight.

Build quality:
 Device is well built.The screen is made up of hardened glass but gorilla glass would have preferred.Overall the device has a plastic feel,but the phone looks expensive than its price

Price:
Being priced at Rs 13999.its more return on investment.
 
Verdict :
 Though the phones offers great value for money ,powerful processor,HD scrren and  decent enough battery.The only major let down is Camera and its after sales service
